We all have many differneces, seperate paths we choose to walk, different ideals, values and we sometimes clash with other peoples opposing ideals. But when it all comes down to it we all end up on the same path of weariness. Even the best path taken will lead you to the road of weariness. It's God's opportunity to prove His promise to us... 'He will not grow tired or weary' Isaiah 40:28... WOW!!! what a guarantee of endless strength, restoration and renewing stores of His power.

The simple word in art
I love the parallel this artist makes with The Word and conceptual design... simplicity is key.
Ebi41 has used clever 'traffic stopping' symbols to express the everyday walk of a Christian. This is my favourite design and like a traffic sign it grabs my attention. Also featuring is a shirt design with stop light signals to remind one to praise.
Praise the Lord, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name... Psalm 103:1
An act that will take the focus off of the self and onto the One worthy of our praise!

Ebi41 applies street feel word art to express the glorious names of Jesus, God & Holy Spirit available as stickers, posters & T-shirt designs.

apmercer
I'm planning to cover my boring walls with a splash of colour... apmercer has the talents of detail and a celebration of colour. A mixture of cityscapes and biblical iconography these artworks can be purchased as posters, greeting cards to name a few. Also apmercer abstracts are a tapestry of wonder.
A must see
I have to blog this artist before I go to bed simply stunning work by StacyLeeArt. Warm earthy toned pieces with such inspiration, an absolute delight to look at. The garment of praise poster is so romantic and heartwarming.
Lamp to my feet by Elisita (aka Elisa Hunter)
During my unit for my art degree we were asked to apply 'the everyday' into an artwork. Including text, well this was right up my alley. The text would describe an everyday task of our lives. What could be more everyday than reading God's amazing word and more importantly living it! So the series on 'Lamp to my feet' came about. Borrowing from Andy Warhol's 'Diamond Dust Shoes' I got aquainted with my pastels and charcoal and explored collage. My everyday text described the everyday walk I have. Psalm 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path... this has to be an everyday thing in order to know God's will and just to simply know HIM! Here is a cropped piece from a larger work. Warhol's everyday shoes play the metaphor for this walk symbolized by the shoes. This original work will be scanned along with the rest of the series and available for purchase as posters from zazzle.com. I have also digitally altered this series which is now available at my store marvel_lass. I really hope it encourages and reminds. My aim is to create practical ways for art to be meditative on God's word and testimonial to everyone via art. Here is the link to the series on 'Lamp to my feet'

Inspiriational christian designs
My name is Elisa but I grew up with the name elisita. An affectionate title my mum had for me. This name reminds me of the times she would pull me away from my art as a child. Drawing, painting, creating you couldnt keep me from it. With this passion and the passion of Christ in my life I'm using what He gave me to bless, encourage and tell the world of His great love and purpose for his children through art, photography etc. I would also like to feature the works of other artists who have inspired & encouraged me with their work. :)
